It was very very cold last night. strong wind was blowing, plus the rain.
She trembled while performing, and was "blown away" by the wind (see GIF)
she regretted not bringing warm clothing and hence was disappointed that she did not perform to her true ability. But she already did really well ( look at the performance videos, you can see she's very cold, but she was very professional in her singing and performing), pity the HK media put her in bad light (as usual).

i seriously find this news very cute. the fortune-teller doesn't need to analyze her name to get the info, many things the fortune-teller said can be easily seen from hebe's behaviours and if you understand the taiwanese society enough.

just a simple translation:

the fortune teller said that she could meet a few possible potential romantic partners this year, but the spark dies off very fast before it started. she could meet her true love next year, but they may not get married.
her career will be very successful for these 2 years.
she also said that hebe is a person who is very self-disciplined, she would rather not go into any relationship if she has not found somebody she really loves and who really loves her. she does wish to get married, but her fate comes later in life. but if she wants to go into a relationship, she has to be careful as she will easily encounter a person who is already married (OS: going by her age, many guys around her age or older than her are already married, no surprise there. they may be interested in her, but no worries, she's a proud lady, she will not accept this kind of man unless maybe one day she really lost her logical mind, which i wonder what is the possibility?)

Happened to see this post that made me feel rather emotional before i sleep, so i'll just do a simple translation.

Hebe: Every 2nd day of CNY, we'll go to my (maternal) grandma's house. Today, when my car was approaching her house, i suddenly thought of the fact that she's not in that house anymore, and i felt sad. when i opened the door, i saw my grandma's ancestral tablet, and at the same time, i saw my grandpa singing some song that i do not know. at that moment, i am more certain that it's important not to delay companionship and filial piety to the elders. what they want is simple. we chatted with grandpa, drank some wine, had some small dishes with him, and hugged him. he was so happy today.

2 songs she sang when lying down on a bed during her concert can only be seen when you go to her concert, it'll not be included in the DVD, and they are: Hourglass by Mindy Gledhill and Lonely by Yael Naim.

I heard the fans recorded version, and found the songs very soothing. I especially like her rendition of Hourglass. It's as though a mother saying bedtime story gently to her kids. It is not easy to sing when lying down, and she did really well for the songs.

After working continuously for 3 years since the SHERO album, the hectic work schedule took a great toll on her that her health is so bad now, H.I.M is finally going to let her have holiday for... 2 weeks. After that it's work work work again. Plus the donations for the year-end lucky draw, all the artistes in the company were said to donate NT$2million, she alone donated 1/4 of it. Money is not an issue, but since she contributed so much to the company (many believe that large part of the 4.5 months bonus for the staff came from her too), at least care more for her well-being, let her have the time to restore her health. Don't keep trying to squeeze out as much money from her as possible, and left her so exhausted and bewildered (she once said that she don't have the time to live a life and to absorb new knowledge, she felt so empty and drained).

Since young she loves to perform, she loves to sing and dance. But every time she went to a new environment, she kept to herself. She don't dare to talk to other people, she'll befriend whoever talk to her. She said she was a very well-behaved kid. the only rebellious thing she did was to pierce her ears. her family has a rule, that is not to tattoo and pierce their bodies. but she pierced 7 ear holes on one ear.

Hebe loves the Dior white dress. she said that it's her ideal wedding dress. she doesn't want her wedding to be very grand, she just want it to be heartwarming and cozy at a small courtyard.
and she said her mum's attitude changed dramatically, from telling her not to be in love too casually 2 years ago to asking her why she has no boyfriend now? hebe jokingly said, it's not like going to a supermarket to buy something, when you want it you can get it!

it's a magazine that was distributed to the homeless and the needy to sell and earn some income for themselves. so this is not available in bookstores.

there's one part on the positive influence of her parents, i.e. how her parents taught her to treat people, especially people in the service line, with respect and kindness.

at the end of the interview, she said this:
she said she wants to lead a fool's life. she thinks that it makes people happier. the "fool's spirit" is to look at yourself with a magnifying glass, and look at the world with the short-sighted glasses off. This year, Hebe thought that she's going to lose her loved ones twice. One was Selina, and another was her father. She felt horrible during the 10 days when she was waiting for her father's biopsy report. at that time her father even say, "If death wants to take me away, we have to accept fate." During that period, Hebe couldn't sleep, she couldn't even genuinely smile when working, "But luckily we discovered it early, there's still chance of treatment. After this incident, we grew even closer to each other."

p.s some fans blamed hebe for not smiling and chatting with them at the airport/hotel, or during traveling to the event. i have no idea why they always trying to find things to blame her and still kept doing all these things that they are not supposed to do. if they are not happy, then don't do it! they envied that other artistes will chat and joke with their fans, then scolded hebe for being too cold. then why don't they like other artistes? they'll have all the chatting and joking that they want. why force her to be somebody she isn't? she's already trying very hard to be professional during work when all these things are happening to her this year, plus her health is very bad at the same time. she coughed for nearly 2 months and her hearing may suddenly go away when she's stressed. i have no idea how skinny she is now (i even suspect that she weigh lesser than 43kg). why don't these fans give her the benefit of doubt when she's not chirpy, given that she's that kind of person who will tolerate the bad things in her life and kept to herself?

it mainly talked about her 2nd album, her singing and her character.

regarding her singing style where some people say that there isn't any intense and outward emotion display, she said that maybe it's due to her personality. she isn't a person who will show her emotions too blatantly, she's a more logical and restrained person, so there isn't exaggerated vocal expressions, tearful singing skills and extreme ups and downs in her songs. that isn't her. and so, although she used her true feelings in singing the songs, she doesn't expect everybody to understand her.

the reporter finds her very direct, sincere, and has her own thinking, and asked her is she already like this last time, or is she more daring to express herself after going solo?

i see some friends asking questions regarding the tabloid recently.
The queries are reasonable as nobody gave a direct answer to them.
But since none of the people involved gave any unambiguous answer, i have no answer for you guys too. :)

I just put a few clips on hebe's interviews during this period. she adopted an indirect approach to the questions, so it depends on how you want to infer her answers:
in Shanghai, her reply was that "making use" was a harsh phrase, and she has never thought of making use of selina. as long as the song touches selina's heart, it's good.

in Taipei, her answers to the bombarding reporters were that:
(Q:is your mood affected? about the matters regarding ah diong?) i don't understand, can you be more specific? come to the front and ask *laughs*
(Q: *recite selina's weibo* it's regarding the rumour recently, do you want to explain? some people said that the bridesmaids have some conflicts with the groom?) S.H.E had encountered a lot of things, such as scandals, in our ten years journey. But we have love, and as long as we have love, we'll hold each other's hands and continue to go on in the face of any adversity.
(Q: so you don't have any misunderstanding with the groom? care to clarify?) there's no need to explain. fact speaks louder than words, the truth is in our hearts.

I’ll share about my 1^st love in hukou high school. It happened during the 2^nd half of my 1^st year in high school, or is it the 2^nd year? I kind of forgot about it. When I first entered the school, the seniors would go to the junior classes to see which juniors are suitable for wooing, then I’m one of those who will attract more of their attention. Oh my god, I feel so shy saying this. Then there’s a senior, he’s very tall, about 183cm. he’s quite handsome. But I have no idea why I didn’t really like him in the beginning. He came to my class to look for me almost every day after school and bought me drinks. Then he pursued me for half a semester, when I finally agreed to be with him.

After we were together, he treated me very well. But I don’t know how to treasure him. I was very fierce to him; I’m something like a “sassy girlfriend”. Every day after school we walked to the bus stop together. When it was raining and there were puddles of water on the ground, he would piggyback me and cross over the puddles. He also made an airplane model and put it into a shoebox. He sprayed paint on the shoebox to make it look like a sky and put the plane into the shoe, signifying that he’ll take me around the world. Then during a summer vacation I went to America for exchange, he wrote me a month worth of love letters to read every day. And I was also in the skateboarding club in high school. During those times, the skateboarding shoes were very expensive. A pair was priced at around NT$2-3000. He bought one that I saw when I was window-shopping with my cousin. He really doted me a lot and loved me very much.

Maybe it’s human’s bad habit to not treasure the people who treat you really well. I slowly fall out of love with him. One day he came to my class to find me and I pretended to chat with my friends and not see him. Then he came into the class and called me out to the corridor. He asked me why I was ignoring him and dropped a tear. He was so pitiful! I really feel that if I encountered such a guy now, I’ll treasure him. It’s really rare to encounter such a guy. I wonder if he is still as nice as in the past?

This reminds me of one of my songs. It’s called shadow’s shadow. When a person treated you really well, you treated him as though he was your shadow and neglected him. But when your shadow left you, you started to become his shadow.
